Lens Lenders is a great local (London, Ontario) service which allows Nikon and Canon users to rent various lenses and flashes at very affordable rates right over the Internet. With fast shipping and handling included its a great way to either test out a potential purchase or to be creative with a different style of lens.

Here at the London Photo Walk we are also happy to announce that Lens Lenders is an official sponsor of the Fanshawe Pioneer Village Photo Walk.

The prize is a $1 one-week lens rental as a door prize.  Everyone who shows up and participates in the Fanshawe Pioneer Village Photo Walk is eligible to win this prize.

The Seventh London Photo Walk if fast approaching us and everyone should be excited about this one.

Come Saturday October 24th, 2009 at 10:00am we will find ourselves having a  guided tour of historic Fanshawe Pioneer Village.  That’s right, the London Photo Walk will be going back in time to experience what life would have been like over 100 years ago.

The staff at Fanshawe Pioneer Village has been kind enough to lend some time to the London Photo Walk so that we may see the village after it has closed for the season (which typically is Thanksgiving weekend). With that said this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Other Points

• We cannot confirm if the General Store will be open, so if you require any food or beverage please bring your own (to be left in your car).
• Please dress appropriate for the weather, so that means bundle up if its cold out.
• Fanshawe Pioneer Village is OUTSIDE of bus/walking distance, (trust me, I’ve had to walk it in the past and it takes far too long.) so in order to get to the village you will need to be in an automobile.  With that said if people can offer up an extra seat in a vehicle I think it would be appreciated by all on the walk. (the more people the better).  If you can lend a ride to someone who needs it PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT of how people can contact you. The London Photo Walk is a community event (with no budget) and if we could help each other that would be appreciated.
