Impromptu Mini Photo Walk
This isn’t a ‘formal’ London Photo Walk by any means but I thought I would post about it for anyone looking for something to do today.
A few people mentioned on Twitter that they are looking for something to do today and some have decided (me included) on heading out to shoot some more of the Downtown Core. This is what we have decided upon.
Date: Sunday August 9, 2009 (TODAY!!!)
Time: 12:30 pm
Meeting Place: Coffee Culture – Richmond Street (back of the coffee shop)
Ending Place: not defined
Route: Some where Downtown London. We will make this up before we head out.
So for those people looking for something to do today and own a camera (point & shoot and camera phones count) come out for a couple hours of walking. Even if you don’t own a camera come out.
Remember, today is suppose to be a hot one so I recommend bringing water with you.
As a side note: London Photo Walker, Scott Webb has planned on having a Freestyle PhotoShoot today from 2-5pm at the Covent Garden Market and we most likely will stop by to check it out. Be prepared Scott.
For those of you who did not come out today please consider yourself lucky.
I should have checked the forecast and temperature before I made the decision to go photowalking. The heat and humidity were so unbearable that we quickly located at a splashpad to cool down, then later moved in doors to stay cool.
Photo Walk FAIL!!
