LCPW: UWO Guided Tour

Under: Community Walk 27 July 2010

This walk has been organized by Donna Currie our Community in Blooms Sponsor.

Our Photowalk of UWO will go  to all corners of the campus to discovered some of the unique features of Western’s property.

Physical Plant’s Grounds Manager, Jim Galbraith will lead the tour and provide some great historical info, introducing the group to some of the lesser known spots on campus.  Jim has worked for the University grounds keeping department for nearly thirty years and has a vast knowledge of all the trees, the plants, the garden, the art in each corner of the property!  Truly amazing!

So here are all the nitty gritty details:

When: Saturday August 21st
Time: 10AM-Noon
Route: Guided tour of UWO grounds with possibilities of secret gardens and tower tours! Marked in RED
Meeting Spot: Meadway Parking Lot
Afterwards: TBA
Parking: Free at Medway Lot

We hope to see you out at this Community Photowalk!

Hope to make it – I have my bachelor party that could be in Toronto on Friday night and I have no idea what’s going on. If I’m back in the city I’ll try and make it out.
