Early morning fountain walk!
8 am, Sunday, Aug 14….we will meet in the parking lot of the Kiwanis Senior Centre at 78 Riverside Dr Will head to the south bank of the river, over to the fountain, north to Black friars bridge and return….it should feature some nice morning light!
I’ll try and make this one. Nice and early to beat the heat hopefully.
Great the first walk I can make all year and I am going to have to be on the road long before the sun is up!! Just my luck, thanks Chris.

I hope to be there and will be bringing my infra red modified Nikon D100. People are welcome to bring a spare compact flash memory card (finally, a use for the starter card that came with your camera!) to give it a try. The RAW files can be worked by people who enjoy photo editing at the computer into fantastic creations of stark contrast and fantasy colour.

Judging by the radar my guess is the rain will pass by..I will be at the start point at 8….if its raining and you already got out of bed to go than we will have coffee at coffee cultures on Richmond….I do think we will get a walk in. Sorry, I don’t tweet but my phone will be on 519-615-6978

thanks Chris! it was great to see everyone again. we had a big group considering the radar thingie hovering over all of north america on tizzy’s phone! the meet ups after definitely the best part! inside and dry! good friends, great conversation, yummy coffee! nice to see you all!
It was fun too bad about the rain I’m looking forward to the next one. Has anyone here rented from Lens Lenders before? I’m thinking about renting a fisheye lens for the Woodward Cruise in Michigan this weekend.
I have rented from them Jeff….the owner was the guy on the walk with the hat and the D100 modified for infra red…great guy, great company!
Thanks Chris! I still undecided what lens I should rent. I’m thinking a fish eye lens would be really cool. Or perhaps a 10-22m as I don’t own a wide angle lens.
I have never used a fish eye Jeff, but wide angles are pretty cool…have fun whatever you decide!
