Stratford Photowalk: A Mid Winter Afternoon’s Stroll (Jan 28)
Hello London Photowalkers! I just wanted to through up a little post about my next photowalk here in Stratford so here it is:

Well the snow has fallen and it looks like it’s here to stay! So we are going to take a nice winter stroll along the west part of the Avon river. Starting at the paid parking lot on York street, we will progress along the river into the Shakespeare Gardens, behind Central Highschool, Up Mclagen Dr and back around on T J Dolan Dr.
Parking is free for two hours on the weekends for the winter, so I believe you do not need to feed the meters in this parking lot.

We have a unique opportunity in London to see two photo exhibits. Both by world renown artist and photo journalist Larry Towell. Larry is associated with the prestigious Magnum Photo Agency founded in New York by Henri Cartier Bresson. Tonight (Jan. 27) at 8:00 pm is the opening reception at Museum London. The show runs until April 1, 2012. On Sun. feb. 26 there is an artist talk at 1:00 pm at the Museum. In conjunction with Museum London,, the Gibson Gallery on Carling St. Also has an exhibit of Larry Towells photos. this is a rare opportunity in London to see photos by such a talent.
